The Adult Day Health program utilizes group and individual activities, community outings, and special events to help older adults and adults with disabilities embrace a joy-filled, satisfying life. All while utilizing in-house medical professionals to maintain good physical and mental health among participants.

Southeastern Wake Adult Day Center is designed to help delay or prevent premature institutionalization of elderly and disabled adults by providing a flexible, stimulating program that monitors medical conditions, aids with personal care and enhances overall quality of life.  The Adult Day Health program utilizes group and individual activities, community outings, and special events to help older adults and adults with disabilities embrace a joy-filled, satisfying life. All while utilizing in-house medical professionals to maintain good physical and mental health among participants.

Adult Day Health provides the peer engagement, mental stimulation and physical support that seniors and disabled adults need in their later years. Adult Day Health also provides reassurance so family members can rest easy knowing their loved one is in a safe, nurturing environment that caters to the concerns of every participant.

Southeastern Wake Adult Day Center’s team approach to adult day health includes licensed medical professionals, geriatric activity specialists, trained nursing assistants and clinical social workers.
